Cancellation
Cancellation and refund terms are written in your contract and vary by plan and by state.
What to look for
- Whether there is a period in which you can cancel for a full refund
- How a refund is calculated after that, for example by time or mileage
- Any cancellation fee and any deduction for claims already paid
- How to cancel and where the request must be sent
- How long a refund takes and who pays it
How to cancel
Follow the instructions in your contract. Put the request in writing and keep a copy. If you cannot find the instructions, call us and we will help you find the right contact for your administrator.
If you financed it
If you bought a contract along with a vehicle loan, check with your lender about how a cancellation affects the loan and any refund.
Questions
If you are not sure who to contact, call us or email cs@silvercreekhub.com. If a refund is not paid as the contract states, your state's insurance department or attorney general can tell you what applies where you live.
